Eleanor L. Hopkins

Eleanor L. Hopkins, age 89, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 surrounded by family at her home. She was born on March 4, 1933 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Andrew F. Slifko and Susie R. (Kromi) Slifko.
Mrs. Hopkins was a 1950 graduate of Community High School, Trail Run Ohio. She was member of First Christian Church in Cambridge. She had worked at R.C.A. and as a realtor and was a Red Cross Volunteer, but her most important job was being the best mother and grandmother.
Eleanor is survived by: her husband of 65 years, Robert R. Hopkins; two daughters, Lisa M. Hopkins of Cambridge and Lori (& Tracy) Ziech of Newark; two sisters, Shirley (& William) Haugh of Sevierville, TN and Joann (& Robert) Haugh of Byesville; three grandchildren, Nicholas Robert Dennis Ziech, Daniel Andrew Howard Ziech and Michael Joseph Richard Ziech; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; a sister Thelma Slifko; six brothers, Robert, Thomas, Raymond, Richard, James and Dwight Slifko.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm with the service to begin at 1 pm. Pastor Randolph White will officiate with burial to follow in Northwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church at 1127 Beatty Avenue Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
