ELEANOR LACH (nee Yelenosky), age 100 passed away on March 25, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Felix John; loving mother of Joann Moriarty (Alan) and Thomas (Michelle); dear grandmother of Lindsey and Kathleen; sister of Anna Mae Yelenosky Thompson (Russell, deceased), Mary Ann Yelenosky Robare (T. Leonard), both deceased, Dorothy Jean Yelenosky Nirmaier (George), both deceased, Margaret Yelenosky Carmichael, deceased, William G. "Sonny" Yelenosky, deceased, Richard Yelenosky (Carol), both deceased, Bernard Yelenosky, deceased, John E. Yelenosky, deceased, James Yelenosky (Lucy), Donald Yelenosky (Patricia), both deceased, and Caroline Yelenosky Smetak, deceased; cherished aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. During her career, Eleanor lead a varied work life. She was employed by the New York Central Roailroad (where she met her husband, Felix), Lear Siegler, Fanny Farmer Candies and ulitmately retiring as the Libriarian at Trinity High School. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2024 FROM 3-8 P.M. Funeral Saturday, April 6, 2024 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested in Eleanor's name to Mariannhill Mission Society, 23715 Ann Arbor Trail, Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48127.
