Eleanor Neth Obituary

Eleanor was born in Whitesville, Kentucky, on November 14, 1932, to the late Norbert and Elizabeth (Greenwell) Boarman, the oldest of their 13 children. Eleanor worked for J.C. Penney for over 25 years before retirement in 1993. Over the years, she and her husband, Jack, enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, being Florida snow birds, and traveling throughout the U.S. following retirement. Her greatest joys in life were her family and her faith.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jack. Daughters, Cynthia (Wayne) Griffith; Jackie (Gary) Turnbloom; Kathy (Dennis) Jochem, Carolyn Graves; sons, Joe (June Miller) Neth; Tom (Karen) Neth; Bob (Karen) Neth; daughter-in-law, Lori Neth; grandchildren, Tricia (Joshua) Mischler; Chris (Amy) Neth; Scott Turnbloom, Lori (Joey) Cox; Erin (Doug) Kieffner; Jamie (Landon) DaPrile; Daniel (Megan) Jochem; Ellen (Ben) Murphy; Jake Jochem; Jack Graves; Tara (Andy) Ellermann; Rachel (Brian) Woeste; Silas Jochem; Tyler (Kelsey) Neth; Alex (Adyson) Neth; Easton Neth; Ryan Neth; Devon Neth; Leigha Neth; Joshua Neth; and Logan Neth. She was blessed with 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also by sisters; Doris (Ray) Hansert; Margaret Boarman; Millie (Roger) Parmenter; Mary Jo Kaiser; Beverly Olson; Jeanne Kelly, Reggie Boarman (Chris); sister-in-laws, Thelma Welte; Stephanie Westerman; Norma Boarman, and Kathy Boarman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Ray Neth, son-in-law Pat Graves, brothers, Victor (Sonny) Boarman; Joe Boarman; Ronnie Boarman; David Boarman, Paul Boarman; sister-in-laws Carolyn Boarman and Charlotte Zimmer; brother-in-laws Leo Kaiser, Gene Olson, Joe Kelly, and John Zimmer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 12, 10:00 a.m., at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2301 N. Stockwell Road, Evansville, IN 47715.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron, Evansville, IN 47714, and again from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church.
Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
Eleanor's family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and aides that attended her needs these last few weeks at Ascension Hospital, River Pointe Health Campus, and Heart to Heart Hospice. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated.
