Early Life and Marriage
Eleanor Rose (Isgar) Ramirez, resident of Bryn Mawr, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at her granddaughter’s home in Mentone. She was born on June 16, 1933, in Loma Linda to parents Nova and Henry Isgar. Eleanor spent her childhood in Yucaipa working alongside her family on their peach orchard. In 1950, she eloped with Tony, the love of her life, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with devotion and shared memories.
Family and Legacy
Eleanor devoted her life to her family. She was a loving mother to her children, Cathy (deceased), Mikki, and Tracy. Her legacy extends to her cherished granddaughters, Toni Marie and Christina, as well as her great-grandchildren, Anais, Blaze, Eva Marie, and Avriella. Eleanor also had the joy of being a great-great grandmother to Grayson. Her dedication to her family was evident in every aspect of her life.
Faith and Community
A woman of deep faith, Eleanor was a longtime member of Saint Joseph the Worker Church in Loma Linda. Her commitment to her church community was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life.
Memorial Service
A memorial service for Eleanor Rose (Isgar) Ramirez will be held on Friday, March 13th at 10:00 AM. The ceremony will take place at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, located at 10816 Mountain View Ave, Loma Linda, CA 92354. Family, friends, and community members are invited to gather and celebrate Eleanor’s life and legacy.
Honoring Eleanor’s Love of Animals
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to an animal rescue organization. This gesture will honor Eleanor’s enduring love for animals and reflect her compassionate spirit.
