Mrs. Eleanor Funk Stubbins, 83, of Monroe, NC passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025. She was born in Queens, NY on November 10, 1942, daughter to the late Charles Funk and Loretta Teevan Funk. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray Stubbins, as well as her brother, Charles Funk and sister, Loretta Kohl.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, the family receive friends following the service at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Salisbury National Cemetery.
Eleanor is survived by her son, David Stubbins (Holly), two daughters, Carolyn Nolan (Ken), and Amanda Stubbins, a brother John Funk, two sisters, Kay Kalaygian and Grace Albert, eight grandchildren, Alan Cummings, Jessica Cummings, Kara Nolan, Angelina Erdmann, Kaylee Stubbins, Emily Helms, Braxton Helms, and Kinsley Eager, as well as one great grandchild, Riley Cummings.
