JERRY CITY -- Robert Stubbins, 86, of Jerry City, died at 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Willows of Bowling Green. He was born on August 6, 1938, in Cygnet to the late Howard and Lavina (Tennar) Stubbins.
He married the love of his life Sue "Elaine" Swope on November 12, 1960, and she survives. Robert is also survived by his son, Scott Stubbins of Panama City Beach, FL; daughters: Tamara Stubbins of Bowling Green and Robyn (Tim) Lamkin of Richwood; sister, Rita (Dallas) Ziegler of North Baltimore; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Louise Stubbins.
Robert retired from Buckeye Pipeline. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2025, at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore, where visitation will be held 1 hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to the service. Burial will be in Jerry City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
