Eleanore V. Bleiler, 94, a resident of Buehrle Center, Topton, and formerly of Mertztown, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was the widow of Woodrow W. Bleiler, who died on November 18, 2017.
Born in Allentown, Eleanore was a daughter of the late Stanley and Lilly (Laudenslager) Wertman. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Topton. Eleanore was formerly employed as a sewing machine operator by Marcus Manufacturing, Topton and by Wendy's in Trexlertown. For most of her life, Eleanore was a homemaker. She loved crocheting and word-search puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eleanore is survived by her children, Ruth A. (Bleiler), wife of Richard F. Druckenmiller, Milton, DE, Diane L. (Bleiler), wife of Steven E. Roth, Alburtis, Robert W., husband of Marie M. (Hall) Bleiler, Timmonsville, SC, and Glenn W. Bleiler, Wescosville; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. In addition to her husband and parents, Eleanore was predeceased by her sisters, Edna (Wertman) Wirth and Betty (Wertman) Bleiler.
A funeral service to celebrate Eleanore's life will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 12:00 noon in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Pastor Crystal Angstadt officiating. Burial will follow in Topton Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the funeral home.
The family requests contributions be made in Eleanore's memory to The Benevolent Care Fund c/o The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 S. Home Avenue, Topton, PA 19562.
