Betty was a member of the Longswamp Democratic Club, where she was the first female President. She enjoyed traveling, playing BINGO and was a member of the Topton Senior Citizens group.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Donna (Bleiler), wife of Steve Grim, Alburtis, PA, and Sandra (Bleiler), wife of Joseph Peters, Laflin, PA; sister, Eleanore (Wertman), widow of Woodrow Bleiler, Topton; three grandchildren, Buffy, Andrew and Joey; and four great-grandchildren, Connor, Estella, Kolby, and Kaden.
