Robert C. Bleiler

Robert C. Bleiler, 92, of Wescosville, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, in his home. He was the husband of the late Christine A. (Behney) Bleiler. Born in Wescosville, he was the son of the late Mildred (Bennicoff) and Carl Austin Bleiler and was a 1950 graduate of Allentown High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and earned the rank of corporal. Prior to retiring in 2003, he was employed at Allen Organ as a supervisor for 53 years. An active member of Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown, he served as a deacon and elder, was the president of the cemetery association and cemetery caretaker for 47 years, and served on its board for 52 years.
Survivors: son, Michael R. and wife, Marla J., Macungie; granddaughter, Meredith T. Galiatsatos and husband, William, Broomall; great grandson, Theodore Robert; sister, Patricia Yokl, Palm.
Services: 10 AM Friday at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown. Call 9 AM until service time. Interment will be in church cemetery.
