Ken D. Diehl, 61, of Reading, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 18, 2025 in his residence. He was the long-time companion of Angela Fegley.
Born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Ken was a son of the late Charles A. and Mildred S. (Bechtel) Diehl, and was a 1983 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton. Ken was employed by several local companies over the years including Garden State Tannery, Fleetwood; East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc., Lyons; and Kutztown University, Kutztown.
Ken loved football and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also enjoyed 80's rock music. It gives comfort to know he was able to hold his first grandson and to know his daughter will be happy in her upcoming marriage. He loved his three children, his whole family, and friends. Friends he relied on never disappointed. Always with smiles and jokes. Ken's life was a testament to resilience and joy, and his memory will undoubtedly continue to live on through the lives he touched.
Along with his companion Angela, Ken is survived by his three children Nicholas A. Diehl, husband of Melina Mousoupetros, Elizabethtown, PA, Victoria L. Diehl, fiancé of Connor Hilt, East Petersburg, PA, and Phoenix Diehl, Mertztown; grandson, Archie J. Mousoupetros; brother, Randy A. Diehl, Kutztown; and sisters, Annalisa L. (Diehl) Jordan, Shillington, and Sue E. (Diehl) Oswald, Kutztown.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor Ken's life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA. There will be a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
