Richard Acker Obituary
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Carl R. and Jean L. (Weil) Acker. Richard was a 1965 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School. He worked for thirty-two years for East Penn Manufacturing. Richard and his wife also owned and operated Bev's Aquariums for many years. He was an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Stacy C. Acker, husband of Jessica (Lubinsky), Leesport; and Audrey A. Acker, companion of Sean Majeski, Sanford, Florida; two step-sons: Bryan M. Hoyt, husband of Rebecca, Hershey; and Jeffrey C. Hoyt, husband of Marci, Fairfax, County, Virginia; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Leesport is in charge of arrangements. For online condolences, please visit, www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com.
