Elease Juanita Hinton was born in Newark NJ on February 7th, 1967 to the late Andrew Peay, Sr and Sophie (Harris). She was educated in Newark Public Schools and graduated from Barringer High School in 1985. She furthered her career education at Sawyer Business School and graduated in 1987, The following year in December 1988, welcomed her first-born Matthew T. Peay.

Elease accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and became a dedicated member of First Newborn OFW Baptist Church. There, she met the love of her life, Elder James Hinton and on November 14th, 1993, they were united in Holy Matrimony, And in March 1995 welcome their Baby girl Nila E. Hinton,

Her ministry service included armor bearer, youth choir director and president, Trustee, pastor's aide, missionary, and a member of 3 choirs.

In 2004, she graduated from Evangelical Bible Institute under the leadership of the late Dr. Nathaniel Screven and received a degree in Christian Education. Answering the call on her life, Elease was licensed as an Evangelist in April 2005 by Pastor Ellen Hagwood First Newborn OFW Baptist

Elease was employed at Fellowship Retirement Village, the US Postal Service, and Supervisor at G4S Secure Solutions. Until she was faced health challenges

In spite of health challenges, With the heart of a missionary, Elease was a founding member of "Team Do Something" where she selflessly served feeding the homeless in shelters and on the street, annual blanket and coat drives, and would offer any resource she had to meet the needs of others.

In September 2022, alongside her husband, she was ordained an Elder in the Lord's Church, by her son, Pastor Matthew Peay Greater Unity Faith Tabernacle.

In praise to God through every season, Elease's most noted scripture was always Jude 1:24-25~Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy; to the only wise God, our savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power both now and forever, Amen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Peay, Sr; her sister Loretta Nelson; and her mother Sophie Peay.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Elder James Hinton; her son Overseer Designate Matthew Peay; her daughter Nila Hinton; her son Antwan Scott; her brother Andrew Peay, Jr; her brother James Peay; her brother Marcus Peay; her sister Chernita Peay. One sister in Law Traniece Peay and a host of nieces, nephews, Godchildren and friends she loved as family.
