Elena Marie Ceurvels

Elena M. Ceurvels, 79 of Hanover, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on July 24, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born on January 2, 1945 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Micciantuono. She graduated from the Jeremiah Burke High School. Elena went on to attend secretarial school and worked in the administrative offices at Jordan Marsh. Elena then went on to work for the Hanover School System for over 30 years as a teacher's assistant. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and later in life spending time and volunteering at the Hanover Senior Center. Elena also loved spending time with friends and family-especially her three granddaughters.
Elena was the devoted wife of the late Joseph L. Ceurvels who passed away in 2013 after 45 wonderful years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Elena M. Ceurvels-Murphy and her husband Paul of East Bridgewater and Scott Ceurvels and his wife Melissa of Hanover. Cherished grandmother of Peyton, Amanda, and Morgan. Elena is also survived by her sister Linda and her husband James Hart of Scituate, her brother Jack and his wife Kathy Micciantuono of FL, and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter in law of the late Jeannette and John Paskus, formerly from South Boston, and the sister in law of John and the late Janice Buckley of Dorchester.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St., Hanover, on Sunday July 28, 2024 from 1-3 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 29, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Angels- St. Mary's, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery.
