Elena V. Saenz

Elena V. Saenz entered eternal rest on February 5, 2026 at the age of 91. She was born on March 28, 1934 to Narciso and Josefina (Rangel) Valadez.

Elena is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Manuel Saenz; son, Joe Manuel Saenz, Jr.; and brothers, Robert and Daniel Valadez. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Michael Saenz, Leonard Saenz, Diana Quintanilla and her husband John, David Saenz, and Sandra Saenz; daughter-in-law, Sandy Sue Saenz; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; numerous other loving family members and friends.

She was a loving and devoted mother, whose family always came first. She found joy in music and dancing, and those who knew her will remember her for the warmth, love, and light she brought into their lives.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. at Mission Park South Chapel. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, February 23 at 9:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Manuel.
