Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast - El PasoIt is with great love and heavy hearts that the family of Elena Sheffield announces her passing. Elena left this world peacefully, surrounded by love, and is now reunited in heaven with the love of her life, Jim Sheffield.
Elena is survived by her children Donna and Chris Lodge, Rick and Anne Sheffield, Robin and Mehrdad Kamalipour, April Sheffield, Glenna and Eddie Gonzalez, and Billy Sheffield. She was blessed with a large and loving family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly and carry her memory with them always.
Born with a fiery spirit and a heart full of love, Elena lived her life with passion, humor, and a touch of spice that made her unforgettable. She was strong, independent, and never afraid to speak her mind, but beneath that spark was endless kindness and generosity. She loved deeply and fiercely, and her home was always filled with laughter and stories.
Elena’s life was one of adventure. She lived in many places, including Japan and Alaska, where she embraced new experiences and made lifelong memories. No matter where she went, she made friends who became family, and she left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She lived a good, full life surrounded by love, family, and faith. Though she will be terribly missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is once again by Jim’s side.
Elena’s love, humor, and spirited personality will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. Her family takes solace in knowing that her laughter and strength will echo in their hearts forever.
A celebration of Elena’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honor her remarkable journey.
Rest peacefully Elena, your love and legacy will never be forgotten.
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
