ElFredia Scales Scribner, 86 of Pana and formerly of Nokomis died Monday, July 15, 2024 at 9:30 PM at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held in Pana Christian Church with Pastor Dave Altman officiating. Burial will be in Bilyeu Cemetery, East 1900 North Road, Moweaqua, Illinois.
ElFredia Scales was born April 23, 1938 in Catherine, Kentucky the daughter of Carles Delno and Optie (maiden name Adkins) Scales. ElFredia was previously employed at the Pana Walmart from 1988 to 2015. She loved to sew and had many creative talents.
ElFredia Scales Scribner is survived by her Daughters: Nila G. Riggs of Springfield, IL; Pam S. (Paul) Marley of Fillmore, IL; and Jill R. (Tom) Carroll of Nokomis, IL; Sons: Clem M. (Cindy) Scribner of Ramsey, IL and Greg D. Scribner of Nokomis, IL; 9 Grandchildren: Nathan (Lydia) Riggs, Aaron (Kristi) Marley, Sarah (Bri) Marley, Melissa Stokes, Keith (Kayla) Van Uytven, Johnathan (Kaycee) Fleet, Shelby (Brett) Young, Tyson Craig, and Brandon (Shaneice) Scribner; 13 Great-Grandchildren: Hunter, Jaron, Olivia, Jaxon, Ayden, Tristin, Savanna, Kassidy, Karlee, Payton, Magnolia, Waylon, and Weston; Brothers: Royce (Nancy) Scales of Lincoln, IL and Terry (Billie) Scales of Monticello, IL; Sisters: Linda Darnell Scales Farmer of Mississippi and Elaine Blankenship of Mt. Zion, IL. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Former Husband, and Brother: Larue Scales.
