Eli Van Doren DuMond, 50, of Lynnwood, Washington, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, after suffering a heart attack.

Eli was born on November 4, 1974, to Dale "Buzz" and Vera Jo DuMond (Gibson).

Preceded in death by his mother, Eli is survived by his father, his sister Katherine Amanda DuMond of Columbus, Ohio, brother Matt Terry of Tiffin, Ohio, aunts Mary Lee Creeger of Tiffin, Lis (Randy) Link of Tiffin, and several cousins. In addition to his family in Ohio, Eli is also survived by Anthony and Corvi Katsaros, Kody Wallace, Kristina Katsaros, Elizabeth and Noel McHugh, their children Amelia and Henry, Ester and John Fogarty, their children Hugh and Sander, Steve and Timi O'Brien-Sundgren, Pieter and Loraine Sundgren and their son Trevor, Shane E'jelle Kaya and Avery Taylor, and Giovani-Giuseppe (Joe) Iodice and his mother, Antonia Iodice all of Washington.

A graduate of Old Fort High School, Eli moved to Washington where he spent the majority of his life. A talented artist, he used this gift along with his abilities as a skilled craftsman to assist others in the maintenance of properties and the design and construction of new structures.

He enjoyed a number of activities including time on the water fishing with his friends and fixing automobiles.

An animal lover throughout his life, Eli rescued a number of animals including Rottweilers. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in his name, should do so to the animal rescue group of their choice.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life.
