Elida Aguirre Rodriguez, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and faithful servant of God, passed away on August 10, 2025, in Houston TX. She was 78 yrs old. Born on March 29, 1947, in Cadereyta Jimenez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Elida grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and the strength of faith that would guide her throughout her life. Her unwavering devotion to the LORD and her deep love for her savior Jesus Christ were the cornerstone of her life's journey. Elida shared a loving marriage of 56 yrs with her husband Jesus and together they built a strong and nurturing home. She was a proud mother of six children: Dalila (daughter) Jesus Jr, (son) Eduardo (son) Samuel (son) Annette (daughter) Juan (son). Her role as a mother was one, she embraced with grace and dedication, instilling in her children the values of having faith in Jesus, having compassion and perseverance. Throughout her life, Elida remained deeply committed to her spiritual calling. Her service to God was not only evident in her words but also in the way she lived – selflessly and with great humility. Those who knew her were touched by her kindness and inspired by her steadfast belief. Elida was preceded in death by her parents- Absalon and Fermina, her siblings Ramiro, Carolina, Aurora, Amparo and Jose Maria. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings Absalon, Fermina and Elizabeth. A Funeral Service will be held at Templo Samaria, located on 1320 N 67th St. Houston Tx, 77011 on Thursday August 21, 2025 @6:30pm-8:00pm and Friday @10:am-11:00am Please send flowers to South Park Funeral Home.
