Weslaco- Eliecer Luna "Eli", a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 7, 2025, in Warsaw, North Carolina. Born on June 24, 1984, in Rio Bravo, Tamps, Mexico, Eliecer was known to many as a vibrant spirit who brought joy to every gathering.
Those who knew Eliecer "Eli" often fondly remarked on his lively personality. Outgoing and energetic, he had a gift for storytelling that could capture an audience's attention, making them laugh and feel connected. He was affectionately dubbed "Eli No Lie" by friends, a testament to his reputation for spreading the truth with a sense of humor that endeared him to many. A true jack of all trades, Eliecer was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, embodying the spirit of helpfulness that defined his character.
Eliecer had a passion for music and was particularly known for his talent in playing the bass instrument, which added a unique flavor to both casual jam sessions and church events. His energy and enthusiasm made every moment spent with him memorable, creating a tapestry of laughter and camaraderie that will be dearly missed.
Eli devoted his love and attention to his five children: Briayan, Eli, Brianna, Mia, and Eliza Luna, who brought him immense joy and pride. Eliecer is also survived by his parents, Mr. Eleazar Luna and Mrs. Manuela Alvarado Luna, and his siblings: Eleazar (Priscilla) Luna Jr., Charlie (Crystal Maldonado) Luna, Emmanuel Luna, and Diana (Santiago Cantu) Luna, along with numerous nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.
Eliecer Luna leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a commitment to family that will resonate through the lives he touched. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
Visitation for Mr. Eliecer Luna are pending and will be announced at a later date.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
