Eliette "Ellie" Jacqueline Hunter, 3 years old, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026,
in
Dallas, TX, after a gallant battle against leukemia. Ellie was born July 8, 2022,
to John and Jacqueline Hunter, big brother Frank, and big sisters Evangeline and
Charlotte.
Born with a radiant spirit that only shined brighter through her diagnosis, Ellie
brought endless joy and love to everyone around her. She loved to dance and sing,
turning her living room or hospital room into the greatest of dance floors and
surprising so many with her extensive playlist that covered so many decades and
genres. Her laughter as she danced and played evoked feelings of pure happiness.
She delighted in stroller rides, exploring the neighborhood or hospital halls with
wonder and curiosity. Playing with her beloved sisters was her greatest joy, sharing
giggles, dance moves, and love. She adored endless cuddles from her parents and
hugs from her big brother. She had a special fondness for McDonald's, Buc-ees,
blind boxes, Jersey Boys, Stitch, all things from The Nightmare Before Christmas,
and her beloved boobie rags. Most importantly, Ellie truly lived life to the fullest,
always finding joy even on the hardest of days.
Though her time with us was far too short, her spunk, joyful heart, and fierce spirit
will forever remain in our memories. Rest peacefully, sweet Ellie. You will forever
be in our hearts, and your legacy is only just beginning.
Ellie is survived by her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins,
extended family, and countless friends, all of whom loved her dearly.
A celebration of life for Ellie is scheduled for February 15, 2026, at 3:00PM at
Mission Church located at 8989 FM 423,
Frisco, TX. Dress code is casual and
colors are preferred.
