Charles Edward “Tiny” Hunter, 63 of Little Clear Creek, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his home. He was born in Pineville on August 9, 1962, a son of the late Charles Lafayette and Bertha Lou Brock Hunter. Tiny was a member of the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid UK and Dallas Cowboys fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Floyd Grand and Lou Gertrude Hunter; and maternal grandparents, James Scott and Elizabeth Caldwell Brock.
Tiny is survived by his wife Virginia “Jen” Taylor Hunter; stepdaughter, Lexie Brock; brothers, Terrence Dewayne and Beth Hunter and Donald Lee and Carroll Hunter; brother by choice, Floyd Scott Hunter; nieces and nephews whom he loved endlessly, Eric and Stephanie Hunter, Joseph and Ashley Hunter, D.J and Erica Hunter, Jessica and Jake Blevins, Shirlyn Hunter, L.J. Smith, and Jace Smith; numerous great-nephews and great-nieces whom he adored; special Aunty Marilyn Fuson; special sister-in-law, Debbie and Johnathon Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Goodin, Rev. Waylon Hunter, and Rev. Mark Hunter presiding. He will be laid to rest beside of his grandmother at the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Little Clear Creek. Pallbearers will be Eric Hunter, Joseph Hunter, D.J. Hunter, Tyrone Bartley, Keith Fuson, Leevi Hunter, Cody Goodin, Cody Hunter, Gavin Hunter, and Adam Hunter. Honorary pallbearer will be Connor Hunter.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Little Clear Creek.
