Terri Hunter Obituary
Mrs. Hunter was born on April 21, 1963, in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Forrest Ayvone Thomason and the late Linda Lee Short Thomason. She retired from Walgreens where she worked as a Pharmacy Tech and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Thomason.
Survivors include her husband Gary Lamar Hunter of Butler, daughter, Britney (Tanner) Dykes of Butler, sister, Kellie (Michale) Kitchens of Valdosta, and grandchildren, Cohen Crews, Kenlee Dykes, Avarie Dykes, and Lucy Dykes.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the VEDS Organization at www.vedsmovement.org
