Angus Davis, 74 of Middlesboro, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Middlesboro ARH. He was born in Bell County on July 4, 1951, a son of the late Clyde Russell and Virgie Estell Ingram Davis. Agus was an avid University of Kentucky fan loved to fish and walk in the woods. He and had been a stone mason.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Trula Barnett, and niece, Debbie Barnett.
Angus is survived by his daughter, Taiana Leigh Davis and special friend, Dave; sisters, Penny and Kenny Wayne Wilson, and JoAnn Davis; brother, Michael and Donna Davis; nieces and nephews, Becky Davis, Angie and Mike Drake, Chris and Theresa Barnett, Nikki and Kim Barnett, Rhonda and Gary Bailey; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke Watson, Cole Barnett, Gage Barnett, Brandyn Barnett, Madison Barnett, Darron Thomas, Alexia Thomas, Logan Davis, Spencer Davis, and Kenzley Davis, who thought of him as more than a great uncle but as her Papaw; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Angus will be held at a later date.
Private cremation services were cared for by the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Davis Family.
