Publish in a newspaper

Elifete Simeon was born on July 6, 1961, in Thomazeau, Haiti, and entered eternal rest on July 25, 2025. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence left a lasting mark on everyone he met.

Elifete was known for his incredible cooking - the kind that brought people together and made them feel at home. His warm smile and natural sense of humor made even the quietest moments joyful. He had a sweet and kind spirit, always gentle with his mother, and deeply respectful toward his family.

A true farm boy at heart, Elifete took great pride in his roots. He loved nothing more than spending peaceful days in the countryside with his sister, sipping fresh coconut water. He found joy in raising his baby goats and lambs, and had a deep passion for the land - often planting potatoes, corn, cassava, beans, and vegetables with care and pride.
He was a hardworking man who never shied away from effort. Whether on a farm or helping a family member, he found purpose in movement and peace in productivity.
Elifete's devotion to his loved ones was unwavering. He was deeply committed to making sure his mother Esther Antilus and his twin brother Elicien Simeon were always cared for, supported, and loved. He was the kind of man who gave his best without asking for anything in return.

He leaves behind his beloved mother Esther Antilus, his twin brother Elicien Simeon, and siblings Diane Simeon and Guevy Simeon.

He is survived by his son and daughter, Woodley Simeon and Shadely, who will always carry his strength and love within them.

He also leaves behind a large and loving circle of nieces and nephews: Ernst and Celita Merivil, Nathalie, Jameson, and Jerome Joseph, Makenndy Exome, Wadline Volcy, Fabian and Fabiola Catule, Mayco, Melissa, Zanyri Simeon, Sonson Simeon, and Merline Simeon Toussaint.
Elifete's legacy is one of kindness, laughter, simplicity, and love. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
