Elijah Michael Lee Hernandez

Elijah Michael Lee Hernandez, age 18 months, passed away on September 12, 2024 at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, Indiana.
He was born on March 8, 2023 in Elkhart, IN, a son to Joseph Davis and Cheyenne La Lone.
He was named after his Grandfather Michael, and late Grandfather Carlos Hernandez.
Elijah was a calm shy baby, as he grew into a toddler his personality really started to show. He loved music, he loved to dance and sing. One of his favorite songs was Beautiful Things by Benson Boone. He loved his Mom and snuggling her, as well as picking on Dad. Elijah loved to be hands on and when his three year old sister, Nova, would walk into the room he would perk up and be ready to play and wrestle. Elijah was a happy baby, full of love and his life was truly a beautiful thing.
He is survived by parents Joseph Davis and Cheyenne La Lone of Sturgis, MI, three year old sister: Nova Davis; Grandfather: Michael La Lone of Sturgis, MI; Grandmother: Deloris Davis of Elkhart; Aunts: Gine Rivera, Khayla La Lone, Emily Hernandez, Denise Hernandez and Amanda Davis; Uncles: Jacob Davis, Aiden Davis,
Carlos A. Hernandez, David Hernandez and Jafet Hernandez and many cousins.
Elijah is preceded in death by Grandfather: Carlos Hernandez; Great Grandmother: Linda Shea; Great Grand parents: Duane and Elaine La Lone; Uncle: Nacho Jimenez.
His family will receive guests for a visitation, Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM-3:30 PM at Ray Funeral Services. A funeral service will start at 3:30 PM, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Ray Funeral Services. Cremation will follow after the funeral.
