Elijio “Lico” De Luna, age 95, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and blessed to be a great-great-grandfather who will be greatly missed. Lico is preceded in death by his loving parents; Pedro De Luna and Anastacia Guzman, his loving wife Elena, daughter Angelita, and all of his siblings. He is survived by his loving children, daughters; Herlinda Alexander (Daniel), Olga Robles (Jose), Patricia Romero (Javier) and son; Eligio De Luna Jr. (Maria), 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor his memory.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, June 24, 2024, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes - West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 324 Lincoln Street, Anthony, New Mexico, with a Graveside Service to follow at 12:00 pm at Anthony Community Cemetery.
Those who cannot attend in person may join the funeral and memorial services virtually on Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/sunsetfuneralhome/ (no account is needed). Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 N. Resler Drive, El Paso, Texas 79912.
