Age 96, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Charles D. Bayer Jr.; beloved mother of Wayne A. (Yvonne), Charles D. III (Rose), Jeffrey K. (Deborah), and the late Gary S.; grandmother of Jonathan (Kristin), Justin (Kelly), Tara Lynn, Daniel (Amber), and Kimberly (Stanley); and great-grandmother of 5.
Elinor was a life-long member of Unity (Wallace) Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed baking, traveling, and flower arranging, but above everything Elinor loved being with her family.
All are welcome Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4-8 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 412-563-2800. Her Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home Wednesday, January 3, 2024, 10:30 AM. Interment to follow in Green Tree Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Unity Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
