Elinor James Obituary
Elinor "Ellen" James, age 88, of Riverton, Wyoming, passed away on February 17, 2026.
Ellen was born on February 5, 1938. She worked in the Gas Hills Federal and Union Carbide uranium mines and later retired from the Social Security Service. Ellen enjoyed playing poker, slot machines, and Scrabble, as well as crocheting, sewing, and reading. She especially loved hiking and camping with Bill and spending time with her family.
She is survived by the love of her life, Bill Rouse; her son, Tony Genoff, and his wife, Misi; her daughter, Tracy, and Quinn; her grandson, Ben; her great grandchildren, Kelsie, Natalie, and Reece; and her sister, Lorraine. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister, Phyllis, and her grandson, Tyrel.
Services will be announced at a later date.
