Elinor was a lifelong resident of Yonkers, New York. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph Nardella Jr. and her sisters, Josephine Williams and Kathryn Ragsdale. Elinor is survived by her niece, Nancy Williams and nephews, Russell Williams (Lucy), and Robert (Sheila) Fenton, as well as cousins, Beatrice Sirna and children, great nieces, Jessica D'Arrigo (Anthony), Jaclyn Williams, Melissa Fenton and great nephews, Matthew Williams & Robert "Chip" Fenton. Aunt Ellie is also survived by her great-great nephews, George and Jack Shepherd D'Arrigo, whom she dearly loved.
Elinor began her career working for WVOX radio station as a secretary and programmer. She then briefly worked for WABC radio station in New York City. Elinor's favorite job was working for the Salesians coordinating itineraries for missionaries from multiple international countries.
Visitation for Elinor will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 732 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 30th at 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 602 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY.
