Elisabeth A. Daugherty, 64, of Peoria, IL, passed away at 9:11 pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on February 22, 1961, in Springfield, IL, to Richard and Ena (Hain) Pare. She married Melvin A. Daugherty on February 14, 2022 in Peoria, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Melvin of Peoria; daughter, Renee (Tony) Reising of Washburn, IL; step-daughter, Sara (Justin) Anderson of Bartonville, IL; grandchildren, Emily Roe of Roanoke, IL and Ashton (Kaylenn) Roe of Metamora, IL; grandson, Brady Anderson of Bartonville; great-grandchildren, Westlynn and Waylynn; siblings, Marialys McClellan of Bloomington, IL, Richard (Becky) Pare of East Peoria, IL, and Victor Pare of Peoria, IL; and lots and lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Dan McClellan.
Elisabeth retired from Parker Seals in Peoria. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, flower gardening, being barefoot, and kitty cats. She loved the holidays and spending time with her grandkids.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Spring Bay American Legion Post #1115. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
