Kenneth Floyd Daugherty was born on Friday, January 13, 1961 in London, KY. He departed this earth on September 14, 2025, at the age of 64 years, 8 months. He was the son of Donald Dale Daugherty and Janet Herron Brown. The husband of Bridgette Daugherty and one brother, Kerry Daugherty. He has two natural born children: Hobie Daugherty and his wife Karli, Emily Daugherty and Kyron Disney. He has two children through adoption: Katie Daugherty and her husband Fernando Vieira of Orlando, Florida and Todd Daugherty of Hopewell, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he has three children through his marriage to Bridgette. Those children are: Brittany Asher and Caleb Thomas, Jordan Asher and Bradley Day all of whom reside in London. He has eight grandchildren: Hobie's son Jase. Emily's daughter Emerson. Brittany's sons; Brady, Ashton and Silas. Jordan's daughters; Ansley and Aspyn, and Bradley's son: Waylon. Additionally, he has a very close extended family relationship with Quanah Houston and Jessica Davis and their children Ellie-Mae, and Rudy Houston. All of these children refer to him as "Pap", a name that he was most proud of. He is survived by his wife Bridgette, his father Dale and his brother Kerry and his wife Ruth Etta and their sons, Chandler and Chase, his seven children and the eight grandchildren. The family would like to thank Ken's classmates from the Laurel Co High School Class of 1979 and Sublimity Eagles, Kellwell Food Services for their support of Bridgette and Ken during these challenging times and the amazing team at Hospice Care Plus Compassionate Care Center in Richmond where Ken spent the final few days of his life. A funeral service honoring Ken Daugherty will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. His brother, Kerry, will read the obituary and Dwight Larkey will speak on behalf of his Sublimity Eagle classmates and the Laurel County High School Class of 1979. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice Care Plus Compassionate Care Center, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, Kentucky 40475.
