Celebrating a Life Well Lived

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Elise Mildred McGlynn, who departed this life on October 8, 2025. Elise was born on March 6, 1938, in North Syracuse and brought joy, warmth, and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Elise will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to family and friends. She treasured her friends from the YMCA, the Mattydale-Hinsdale Seniors, the Canasta Card group and her High School friends that she continued to meet with regularly.

All who knew Elise are welcome to attend and share memories, stories, and reflections.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support and condolences during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be

made to the Mattydale-Hinsdale Seniors, Attn: Joyce Leddy, 119 Plaxdale Road, Liverpool, NY 13088.

Elise McGlynn's legacy of kindness and love will live on through the lives she touched. Her platters of Christmas cookies and huge portions of comfort food will be forever missed. We hope that God's housekeepers have the place clean and dusted; she will notice. Her idea of heaven includes a coconut cream pie baked at a small country diner. We are sure she placed her order early. Elise leaves an enormous void in the family. Go in peace, Mom.
