Elise Nelson Wall

Elsie Nelson Wall, 88, of Ventura, CA, passed away on June 20, 2024. Elsie was born to William and Mary Nelson in New Jersey on June 19, 1936. She grew up in Dover, Delaware, and graduated from Dover High School.
Elsie attended Penn State University, where she received a bachelor's degree. For 27 years, she taught primarily first and second grades at Juanita and Curren schools in the Oxnard School District. Elsie was a long time active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Ventura and generously gave to many charity organizations.
Elsie's survivors include her son Daniel, wife Christine and their children Lucas and Alison Wall of Laramie, WY. Her daughter Terri passed away in 2018 and is survived by her husband Robert and children Tyler and Lauren Hanawalt. Her stepson, Steve Wall, passed away in 2015 and is survived by his wife, Katee.
Elsie was an avid reader and member of book clubs. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. She loved animals and had many devoted pets. Elsie cared deeply about her family and enjoyed her time the most with them. Her family and friends will miss Elsie. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P.
