Eliza Inez Wilson passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025 at the age of 92 years old in Chester, Montana. Born on April 15, 1933 to parents, Frank Green and Sarah Alveda Walker in Charleston, South Carolina.
Eliza grew up in South Carolina with her Aunt Mary and Uncle Eddie until she was in middle school. She then moved to New York to live with her mother, Sarah. Eliza worked several different jobs and helped her mother with her sisters, Ann and Rosemary. In school, Eliza was talented in singing and running.
She met and married Isaac Wilson on September 14, 1960 in New York. They had six children in their union. In 1975, Eliza and Isaac separated with Eliza moving to California with her children. She worked in healthcare as a Healthcare Aide where many people loved her and simply adored her. Though being a single parent of six children, she found time to be involved in their very busy lives whether it was a baseball or basketball game or helping her children with homework. Eliza loved to sing, watch sports (both on television and at her children's games), watch tv shows like Matlock, Gunsmoke, Big Valley, Bonanza and Perry Mason.
Eliza taught her children and all those around her the love she had for Jesus and God the Father. She was a very faithful servant to the Lord. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!” Words she taught her children to live by. Her loving example will be missed here on Earth.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Green and Sarah Alveda (Walker) Blake; sisters, Ann Gamble and Dorothy Jackson; brother-in-law, Virgil Jackson Sr; nephews, Virgil Jackson Jr, Vincent Jackson; nieces, Janine Gamble, Debra Jackson; son-in-law, Daniel Carlon.
Surviving family are her six children; daughters, Catalina Carlon, Loretta Wilson of Chester, MT, Cynthia Wilson of Covina, CA; sons, Isaac Wilson (April) of Chino Hills, CA, Mitchell Wilson of Joplin, MT and Matthew Wilson of Rudyard, MT; sister, Rosemary Baskette of Costa Rica; grandsons, Andrew Wilson (Annie) of Whitefish, MT, George Carlon of Missoula, MT, Isaac Eddie Wilson III, Daniel Glenn Wilson of Chino Hills, CA, LaTroye Wilson of Santa Clarita, CA, Tyler Wilson (Dakota) of West Virginia; granddaughters, Alveda Wilson of Covina, CA, Bettie Carlon of Helena, MT, Lisa Carlon of Helena, MT, Elaine Jasmine Wilson of Chino Hills, CA, Brianna Lorenz (Jay) of Savannah, GA, Madison Wilson of Rudyard, MT; five great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
