Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, with her family at her side. Age 47 years.
Beth was born on June 18, 1977, in Trenton, Michigan to Christene “Chris” (Bedore) (her husband Nick) Goergen and the late Michael Bedore. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the class of 1995. Beth continued her education at Northwood University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree. Beth proudly served in the United States Army Reserves in Georgia, having been deployed several times. She was Honorably Discharged after 23 years of loyal and dedicated service to her country. While in the reserves, she worked as a Police Officer in Marietta, Georgia. Beth cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones. She took great joy in creating lasting memories, always keeping her SnapChat streaks with her loved ones. Her family was a constant source of support and joy, and Beth reveled in celebrating milestones together.
Surviving are her daughter, Ansley Bedore; her mother and step-father, Chris and Nick Goergen; sisters, Michele Premo, Sarah Falkenberg, Susan Bedore; nieces and nephew, Dr. Megan (Matt) Leser, Dani Premo, Caleb Premo, Rebekah Falkenberg, Madilynn Falkenberg, Kaitlyn Wortley, Kylie Bedore; great-niece, Josey Leser; very dear friends, Keisha and Connie. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends. Besides her father, Beth was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Gary Premo, and Kevin Falkenberg.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center Community Living Center, especially Dr. Mickey, for their kind and compassionate care of Beth.
Honoring Beth’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. Military Honors will follow, under the auspices of the United States Army and American Legion Post 22. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. on Monday until the time of service at the funeral chapel. Those planning an expression may wish to consider memorials to ALS Association, or to the wishes of the family, in c/o Chris Goergen.
