COX FUNERAL HOME
BASTROP, LOUISIANA
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Crouch was born May 5, 1938 in Golden Meadow, Louisiana to the late Jefferson Crosby and Clementine Serigny Crosby. She passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025 at The Columns of Bastrop, Louisiana. Along with her parents Betty is preceded in death by her husband, James Clinton Crouch; and three siblings, Edward Crosby, Edna Callais, and Roosevelt Crosby.
Mrs. Crouch was a member of the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Bastrop, Louisiana. She was also a talented artist and was known for her beautiful ceramic creations.
Betty is survived by her two children, Donna Spence and her husband Gene of Bastrop, Louisiana and Carson Crouch and his wife Rhonda of Sterlington, Louisiana; and a sister, Clementine "Tiny" Duet and husband Harold. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Justin Spence and wife April, Miranda Harper and husband Chad, Derek Spence and wife Erin, Morgan Crouch, and Makayla Crouch; eight great-grandchildren, Cane Harper, Olivia Harper, Brock Spence, Blaine Spence, Phoenix Albritton, Aden Matthews, August Matthews, and Rylan Costin;
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 PM at the church with Father Kelby Tingle officiating. Committal services and burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery of Bastrop under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Justin Spence, Derek Spence, Glen Hendrix, David Beauvais, Randy Hanks, and Allen Toups.
