Paul Martin Ninemire was born January 4, 1931 to Elva & Bert Ninemire in Graham County, Kansas. He passed from this life September 11, 2025 at the age of 94 years, 8 months, and 7 days.
In September of 1950 he was saved at a revival service held at RedLine Church of God near Palco, Kansas. He spent the next year being discipled and taught more about the Goodness of God by men in the church. He left Kansas in January 1952 to attend Pacific Bible College in Portland, Oregon after feeling a call to ministry.
In June, 1953 he married his sweetheart, Gussie Germany, whom he met while playing Santa for the Christmas Party at Brownville Country school where Gussie was teaching. They were married in the same church where Paul had been saved. To this union were born 5 children: Cheryl Dianne, Paula Marie, Teressa Jill, Timothy Paul, and Mona Ruth.
Most people knew him as Bro. Paul. He, along with Sis. Gussie spent their lives in ministry to honor their Lord. In 1958 their ministry began in Great Bend, Kansas. and ended when he took his final breath on Thursday, September 11 in
Oak Grove, Louisiana. He served congregations in Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
In recent years he drove daily around West Carroll schools each morning praying for students, teachers, and support personnel.
On one of those drives in 2020 the Lord gave him a vision for children asking "Who will tell these children that Jesus loves them and has a wonderful plan for their lives?" From this vision Bro Paul began sharing with people he met in his daily life about this passion and a dream of placing a Bible Story book in every home in the parish. Soon funds began coming in and within a few months enough was raised to cover the cost of 5,000 books. Through the help of many volunteers the books were distributed.
This effort laid the foundation for what would become TNT Ministries, a non-denominational group focused on Taking New Territory for Christ by locking arms to share the gospel. He believed we had to lock arms so that the lost could be saved. As Jesus said, "Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." (John 4:35) His family believes that the seeds he faithfully planted through ministry will impact generations not yet born!
While in the hospital he told his family, "We have to continue the fight!" He believed that if your dream is so small you can do it yourself it is insulting to God. When sharing about wishes for his service, he kept telling everyone, "Don't talk about Paul Ninemire, Talk about Jesus!! He was a humble servant, an ambassador for Jesus, an encourager; he loved everyone, never gave up on anyone, and always believed the best.
Brother Paul was preceded in death by his parents Elva & Bert Ninemire; Gussie, his wife of 60 years; daughters Cheryl Walker and Mona Ninemire; grandson Jonathan Walker; brothers Lee, Floyd, and Dale Ninemire; sisters Ruby Sproul & Rosalie Wacker.
He is survived by daughters Paula Riley and Teressa Traylor both of
Oak Grove, Louisiana; a son Tim Ninemire of Saginaw, Michigan; sisters-in-law Margaret Ninemire, and Bobbie Holsman; granddaughters Kendra & Brianne; grandsons Trent, Bryce, Ryan, Grant, Jared, & Caleb; 31 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren with #5 and #6 on the way.
