Elizabeth Espinosa (Liz), 38, of San Diego, California, passed away on November 30th 2025.Liz was born on October 10th 1987 in Galveston Texas to Joe and Margarita Espinosa.She was known for her caring personality and ability to make everyone around her smile and happy even if she was in pain battling the effects of lupus. She especially loved spending time with her daughter and family, she loved taking pictures and collecting travel souvenirs, anything when traveling to different states, or anything with Jack Skeleton from Nightmare Before Christmas. She loved to collect things like glass bottles and other weird things. Her hobbies included brain or word games, Sudoku puzzles, cloud watching, scenic views and visiting family while on summer road trips. She will be remembered for her care of everyone she encountered, and loving nature. She is survived by Husband, Jaime Chavarin, Daughter Zita Chavarin, Siblings, Genoveva Rodriquez, Olga Nunez, Joe Govea, Silvia Haggerty, Luis Govea, Maria Givens, Rachel Alonso, Adrian Espinosa, and Mark Espinosa and preceded in death by her Father Joe Espinosa, and Mother Margarita Espinosa. A viewing will be held on Friday December 12th at 3PM-5PM at Legacy Funeral & Care. 7043 University Avenue, La Mesa, CA 91942. Flowers can be sent to Legacy Funeral or contact John Busco (843-509-8128) for alternate contributions for the family.
