Elizabeth Everidge Obituary
July 2, 1923 - June 25, 2025
Elizabeth Hale Everidge, 101, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was the widow of James Clarence Everidge. Born July 2, 1923, in Lynchburg, VA, she was a daughter of the late William Carey Hale and Nannie Witt Hale. She worked in retail sales and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She loved to cook; work word find puzzles and she especially loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra E. "Sandy" Marsh and her husband, David, of Lynchburg; one sister, Mary Ann Wilson of Bedford, VA; and two grandchildren, Matthew Tyler Marsh and David James Marsh both of Lynchburg; a special sister-in-law, Betty Eriksson; and special brother-in law, Wayne Everidge.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2015, at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Pastor Ed Vogt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour (11 to 12) before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Lynchburg Humane Society, 1211 Old Graves Mill Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502. Online condolences may be sent at www.diuguidfuneralservice.com.
