Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Face, 73, of Highway Route 20, Cobleskill, New York died Monday, December 30, 2024, at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Born on June 2, 1951, in Cobleskill, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph Salisbury, Sr. and Eva Bowdish Salisbury. She was a graduate of Cobleskill High School, Class of 1969 and was a lifetime resident of the Cobleskill area.
Betty was a tax preparer for J. Strauss & Associates, formerly H&R Block in Cobleskill.
She served on the Board of Elections and was a member of the Carlisle Volunteer Fire Department, Ladies Axillary.
On August 30, 1969, Betty married Larry Face.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Face of Carlisle, NY; daughter, Amy (Ron) Maland of Middleburgh, NY; son, Doug (Kim) Face of Carlisle, NY; 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Erik, Casey, and Jade; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe (Diane) Salisbury of Canajoharie, NY; sister-in-law, Sandy Nolte of Cobleskill, NY; numerous nieces, and nephews; long lifetime friends, Gene and Laura Hoyt of Carlisle, NY and Tina Olsen of Sharon Springs, NY.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 3:00-5:00pm at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043. A graveside service will be held at Carlisle Cemetery, at a later date.
Contributions in memory of Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Face may be made to Carlisle Volunteer Fire Department, 2417 US 20, Carlisle, NY 12031.
