Age 51, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away September 16, 2025. Preceded in death by father Robert Fors and dog Mazie.
Liz graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in communications in 1996. She then began work as a television sports producer and worked for both MSC and FSN. Liz then went back to school to obtain her paralegal certificate in 2008. While working full time as a paralegal, she attended Hamline School of Law, graduating in 2015. Liz was a very successful medical malpractice attorney for RobinsKaplan on the 26th floor in Minneapolis.
Liz had many passions including knitting, sports, dogs, travel, spending time with family and friends, watching her favorite tv shows and online shopping.
Survived by mother Lucille Fors; brother Erik (Fidias); sisters Susan (Lars) Erickson and Melissa (Glen) Shackelford; nephews Andrew Erickson, Evan (Sarra) Erickson, Niklas Erickson; niece Kaylyn Fors and dog Poppy.
Celebration of Life September 28th 1-4pm with sharing of memories at 3pm at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave. Apple Valley.
Liz said, "I prefer guests to the memorial service wear casual, fun and colorful clothes; whatever makes them happy. They should look good, feel good, play good."
