Cannon MortuaryIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Susan Ericson Fors. Susan returned home into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on September 8th, 2025. We take comfort knowing she was joyously received by her parents, daughter, son and all of the dear friends and loved ones who have gone before her.
Susan was born on June 28th, 1950, daughter of Wanda Pearl & Marshall Graham Ericson in Salt Lake City, Utah.Susan had a great love of Nature. She enjoyed taking in the sights and producing wonderful pictures of her experiences. Some of her favorites included lighthouses, wildflowers and mountain scenery. Steadfast in her faith, Susan was an active member of the LDS Church. In her younger years she consistently participated in Girls Camp serving in many capacities including Camp Director.
She led a life of Love, Inspiration, Faith and was always there to lend a helping hand. We will always remember her infectious laugh and the way she smirked in amusement, she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wanda Pearl Ericson and Marshall Graham Ericson, daughter, Nikki Fors Lammert, son, Peter Johan Fors and brother, Brent Ericson.Graveside services will be held, Monday, October 6th, 2025, 3:00 p.m. at the Murray City Cemetery 5490 S Vine St, Murray, UT 84107. (feel free to bring your own chair).
