Elizabeth A. Fregien, age 58, of Nekoosa (Town of Rome) passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Rev. Paul Tullberg will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the church. Interment will be at a later date at Forest Hill Mausoleum.

Elizabeth was born January 11, 1967 in Kaiserslautern, Germany to Clyde and Marlene (Tabat) Curler. She graduated from Mukwonago High School. She married Michael Fregien on December 7, 1991 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mukwonago.

Elizabeth was employed as an implementation coordinator for Renaissance Learning for over 20 years. She was also a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Rome for 10 years.

She enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, ice fishing, four wheeling, and riding motorcycle. She was very creative and loved doing crafts, scrapbooking, wreath making, and crocheting. She was an excellent baker and cook and made the best lasagna.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Michael; two children: Jamie Fregien of Wisconsin Rapids and Michael Jr. (Madison) Fregien of Grove City, OH; two brothers: Jeff (Cindy) Curler of Collierville, TN and Dan (Sharon) Curler of New Lisbon, WI; one sister, Clylene (Willis) Crouch of Tomah, WI; her mother-in-law, Fern Fregien of Nekoosa (Town of Rome); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Marlene Curler and father-in-law Ron Fregien.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Marshfield Medical Center for the care they provided.
