Daniel Ostrowski

Daniel A. Ostrowski, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Dan was born on May 20, 1962, in Stevens Point to Alexander and Betty (Rickman) Ostrowski. He graduated from Amherst High School and later attended Mid-State Technical College. Dan Married Debra Kane on June 23, 1984.

Dan dedicated many years to the paper company, where he took on a variety of roles, including tow motor operator and paper maker. Outside of work, he was a true outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, and especially ice fishing. Some of his happiest moments were spent camping with his family, creating memories he cherished deeply.

He took great pride in his lifetime membership at the gun club, a place that reflected his passion for the outdoors. A loyal Packers fan through and through, Dan also enjoyed sports in his younger years, particularly football and baseball. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, where he developed skills and values that stayed with him throughout his life.

Dan is survived by his loving wife Debra; children: Alex (Tracy) Ostrowski and Elizabeth (Kristalee Frank) Ostrowski; grandchildren: Dominick Ostrowski, Emma Ostrowski, and Valerie Berry; sisters: Darlene (Paul) Konkol, Debra (David) Saltzman, and Denise (Tony) Malkuski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Betty Ostrowski.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion they provided for him and to all who loved him.
