Elizabeth M. "Betty" Gorman, passed away peacefully at Saint Joseph Villa on October 4, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, Betty was a long-time resident of Warminster, Bucks County. She was a 1947 graduate of Little Flower High School and attended Immaculata College.

Upon graduating from Immaculata, Betty was employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a Program Analyst. She was an Officer of the IRS Employee Association for several years and retired in 1989. During retirement, Betty volunteered at Warminster Hospital as a Patient Representative, and for Family Services of Bucks County.

Betty was the youngest daughter of the late Alexina and Francis Shannon, sister of the late Lawrence Denault, Francis Shannon, and Dorothy Geiger. She was the devoted wife of 54 years of the late Francis Gorman, and loving mother to the late Michael F. Gorman, and Baby Vincent Gorman. She is survived by her loyal and loving sister Bernice M. Niessen, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, October 17th at 9:30 AM, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Saint Joseph Villa Chapel. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Avenue, Flourtown, PA 19031.
