Elizabeth "Beth" A. Hawkins, 66, of North Canton, passed away peacefully after a battle with ataxia on September 28, 2025. She was born on March 28, 1959 in Akron to the late Paul Hawkins and Marcella (Henderson) Yerger.

Beth graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor degree in accounting and worked as a CPA which she was very proud of.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother Michael (Robyn) Hawkins and sister Laura (Art) Ford; her faithful friend Jill Warner; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by her step-father, Claire Yerger.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3rd from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7707 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44721. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at Manchester Cemetery.

Beth had a generous heart and compassion for animals and others, so in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach St NE, Louisville, OH 44641 or to Refuge of Hope Ministries, 715 2nd St NE, Canton, OH 44704.
