Elizabeth Jane “Janie” McCollum Howard passed away March 28, 2024, in Bartlesville, OK. Life began for Janie on Oct. 6, 1962, in Bartlesville, OK to Eugene Franklin McCollum Jr. and Mary Jane Hutchens McCollum.
Janie lived most of her life in Bartlesville other than the one year she spent in Tulsa. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son; Joshua Wayde Howard and his wife Kristi Dawn Bluchett Howard of Bartlesville, two sisters; Mary F McCollum Herndon of Stillwater, OK and Patricia A. McCollum Wile of Richmond, TX, a nephew; Nathan A. McCollum of Bartlesville, OK, and two nieces, Stephenie J. Cypret Taylor of Denton, TX and Rae Cypret Yother of Oklahoma City, OK.
She was preceded in death by a son; Justin Damien McCollum, her parents; Eugene Franklin McCollum, Jr. and Mary Jane Hutchens McCollum, a brother; Harold A. McCollum, Sister-in-law; Jeanette M. Whisler McCollum, a sister; Katheryn M. McCollum Cypret, and a Life-Long Family Friend Theresa Dunlap.
