Elizabeth Schnitzer Irvin
November 14, 1939 - October 3, 2025

Elizabeth Schnitzer Irvin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of October 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and the gentle presence of angels. She was 85 years old.

Born in Hungary on November 14, 1939, to Josef and Jolan (Kozma) Schnitzer, Elizabeth's life was a testament to resilience, grace, and unwavering love. Her early years were shaped by the strength of her heritage and the warmth of her family, values she carried with her throughout her life.

Elizabeth emigrated to the United States, where she built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She was known for her gentle spirit, her wisdom, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and loved. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her heart always generous.

She is survived by her 3 sons John Irvin, Anthony Irvin, Joseph Irvin and granddaughter Tabitha Irvin, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Josef and Jolan Schnitzer, sisters Irene Le May, Eva Severance and brother Gabrial Schnitzer.

A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held Monday 10am on October 13th at St. Ann's Catholic Church where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on all who knew her.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
