Dear Mike and Family: Wow! What a wonderful friend and human being we have lost! Liz made everything she did a blessing, and she was a blessing to many, many! We have missed her since we moved to Illinois from Council Bluffs. While we were there, we were members of her Choir at St John Lutheran Church and she made every minute of it 'swonderful! Please know that your pain is in our hearts and you will be in our every prayer.

It seems like only yesterday we were all teaching together at Wilson. How time flies! We were so sad to hear about Liz. She was one of a kind! Andrea and I were recently talking about her junior high years and choir. She has wonderful memories. We will keep you in our prayers. God Bless, Vicki and Charlie Mueller

Liz was absolutely one of my favorite teachers in all of my schooling. She challenged me and challenged the talented students to do more. She was also very spiritual and wasn't afraid of using spiritual music in school.

I am sorry for your loss, Mr. K. Mrs. K was a very good teacher. She didn't take any crap off of rowdy junior high kids! That was my favorite thing about her...besides her obvious talent and love of music.

Mike and Liz's Family:
So saddened to learn of Liz's passing. I will truly miss her. I enjoyed singing in the choir when she was at First Congregational Church. I will miss the Christmas cards I received and having lunch with her when I was home for the holidays. I will cherish last Christmas Eve Service at St. John's Church--it was the last time I had time with her. My thoughts and prayers go out to you as you deal with the loss of your mother and wife. She was a true friend and helped me a lot.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. K's passing! Just know that she's now soaring with the other Eagles that have passed before her and they'll show her the way! She was a great music teacher and lead us to win many swing choir competitions! I'll never forget "and mark"!!
My thoughts are with her family and friends!

What a wonderful woman she was!! Her influence on me as a student is one that will never be forgotten. She showed a passion for her job as a teacher by not only teaching music, but also teaching meaningful life lessons to her students, something that defined her as not a "good" teacher but rather a "great" teacher and friend. She will be missed.
