Ruth Marie Krivokucha, age 83, of Adamsville, Texas, passed away at her home on
September 10, 2024. Born on March 22, 1941, in Tulia, Texas, Ruth grew up in the
Adamsville area and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1959.
Ruth worked as a teacher's aide for many years. Ruth loved to bowl, hunt, fish,
coach girls' softball and umpire. But most off all she loved her family.
On December 27, 1961, Ruth married Robert Krivokucha, her Yankee. Together
they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. They raised 2 children in Florida and
Texas; Daniel Bret Krivokucha and Mitchell Lynn Krivokucha.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father Audell Fields and Daniel
Webster Fields, her aunt Lanelle Pearce Jones, her sister Lynn Onda, her brother
Lee Snyder, and sister-in-law Amelia Fields.
She is survived by her sister Pat Barnhill of San Diego, her brother Charles Fields
and wife Marilyn of Lampasas, cousins Barbara and David Jones of Austin, son
Daniel Bret Krivokucha and wife Jeanine of Austin, son Mitchell Lynn Krivokucha
and wife Kim of Bertram, granddaughter Brooke Parker and husband Tim of
Hutto, grandson Hunter Krivokucha of Austin, grandson Chase Krivokucha of
College Station, great grandson Galen Parker, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Adamsville Baptist Church, at 17084 US281,
Adamsville, Texas, on Sunday, September 22, at 2:00 PM. The church is located 24
miles north of Lampasas on Hwy 281. Attendees are welcome to join us after the
service for food and fellowship.
Due to the difficulties of delivering to Adamsville, if you would like to send flowers
for the service, we suggest you contact "The Shoppe On Key" florist in Lampasas
at 512-556-3262. They will be delivering all flowers on Saturday at 2:00pm.
